| Purpose and Eligibility Criteria
| Alumni Achievement Award
| July 15
| - To recognize meritorious achievement and/or outstanding service to nation, society, or community.
- Attendance at Knox College for at least one full academic year.
- Excluded from consideration: prior recipients, trustees, current Alumni Council members, current selection committee members, persons holding honorary doctorate degrees from Knox.
| Young Alumni Achievement Award
| July 15
| - To recognize meritorious contribution and achievement in a field of endeavor, community, state, or nation.
- The recipient must be 35 years of age or younger at time of nomination and selection.
- Attendance at Knox College for at least one full year.
- Excluded from consideration: prior recipients, trustees, current Alumni Council members, current selection committee members.
| Hall of Fame
| January 15
| - To recognize excellence in one or more intercollegiate sports.
- Male or female athletes who attended Knox or Lombard for two or more years.
- Coaches, faculty, administrators, and friends of the College are also eligible. An employee of the athletic department may not be considered for nomination until one year after leaving the College's employment.
- No athlete shall be considered until five years after leaving the college.
| Knox Service Award
| January 30
| - To recognize volunteer service to Knox College.
- Volunteer service for more than one year—service to the Fifty Year Club, Advancement, Admission, and Career Development Offices. Services which have brought particular honor to the College or have projected the Knox spirit in a national or international arena may also be included.
- Excluded from consideration: prior recipients, trustees, current members of the selection committee.
| FYC Scroll of Honor
| March 15
| - Recipients are chosen for lifetime achievements, service to their community, society, or humanity.
- Recipients must have attended Knox or Lombard College for at least one full year and be a current member of the FYC (Fifty Year Club).
- Excluded from consideration: previous recipients; current members of the FYC Executive Board; current members of the Selection Committee; persons who have received the Knox College Alumni Achievement Award.
